Kristy is a phenomenal design, team and people leader and I don’t take my experience working with her and learning from her on countless inspiring projects over the past 2 years for granted.

It’s hard to put her impact into words, because she wears many fashionable, but timeless hats. In the WA Telstra Purple squad she has created a FOMO-worthy culture. She also knows how to craft awesome projects and bring out the best in our growing team.

For our customers, she helps spend every dollar with maximum impact. Her discovery process is tested, but she always keeps it fresh and she reliably supports design, development and data teams to deliver on time, task, and budget like very few can.

She has also made a deep impact in Telstra Purple’s national design practice and beyond. Hearing her share her design and strategy knowledge at national events is honestly a privilege.

Above all, she has a boundless passion to always be better. Kristy always delivers, always challenges, always listens and always cares.

To say that Kristy lead the design for DDD Perth 2019 is an understatement of her abilities; she forged a new path as she set up and enabled our presence to grow for 2019. Kristy is always motivated, and always available to lend a hand. Her ability to quickly pivot was valuable as the conference day drew closer; many teams required her guidance and she managed her priorities to ensure everything asked of her got done, either by herself or by delegating effectively. By 5pm on conference day, Kristy was already planning ahead, thinking about DDD Perth 2020, but also making sure she closed out her 2019 responsibilities. We couldn't have had such a huge presence in the Perth community without Kristy's continual support in 2019.

Kristy was great in the Production Manager role here at SUMO - a role that requires both delicate tact and persuasive professionalism to be effective.
